Mexico '09 babay!
Wow, this was possibly the greatest trip ever.
Day 1: It all started by waking up ay 5:45 in the morning, trudging to the car, then we started on our 4 and a half hour drive to Mexico. When we arrived at the Sonoran Spa condo, things couldn't have been better. From the perfect view of the ocean, to the amazing decorations in the condo. I started off the vacation with a four hour nap. Hahahaha. I woke up to the smell of dinner being cooked. Then I went down the five flights of stairs to go down and barbeque Chicken with my dad. We came up and ate dinner, then pretty much relaxed for the rest of the night. Hhaha
Day 2: It started off with waking up @ 7. (who knows why?) then we went down to the reef, and kinda explored it. Then the Lambrights arrived around 9-10ish. We helped them get settled in, then we went down for a day of playing at the beach, tanning, and hanging at the pool. Aubrey got the worst sunburn ever! And only on the first day. Haha, then it was time for a d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s dinner of shrimp, fish, artichoke, papaya, shrimp cocktail, pineapple mango salsa, and many more delicious entrées. Then we all stayed up arguing over what to watch; hunting shows, dancing with the stars, or ANTM? hahah, we ended up watching all of them.
Day 3: We all got up, and traveled down to Rosy's for Aubrey's birthday breakfast! After eating pancakes ( in Mexico, known as hotcakes) I was stuffed!! Then pretty much ALLLL day we were down at the beach with the occasional stops up at the condo to get food and water. Hahaa. After falling asleep at the pool, getting tan, and get Thrifty's ice cream (THE BEST!) It was a pretty amazing day! Then at sunset, Weston, Chic, Carly, Jessica and I played frisbee and football on the beach. Then we had bean Burros and cheese crisps for dinner! Yum!
Day 4: We all woke up, washed the bedding, got EVERYTHING and I mean everything, packed up and ready to go. This was the day we'd be leaving Paradise (: We all got dressed in our swimsuits and made our way to Cholla Bay. The sand was a little muddy, but other than that, it was a blast! We went out so far, while the water only went up mid-calf height. We found AmAzInG shells! Then we made our way back, and ate a lunch filled with miscellaneous foods. Then we decided to have a race. We tossed a tic-tac off the fifth floor, and we tried to see who could run down the stairs, find the tic-tac in the grass, and run back up with the quickest time. So, ready to race, I went first and ended up with a time of 1:50. not bad, but Weston went next and best me with a time of 1:46. DANG! So I didn't want to be defeated by him, so I tried again. I was barefoot. So, ready to win, I sprinted down five flights of cobblestone steps, (barefoot!) around, the side of the condo complex, then found the tic-tac in the grass, and back up the stairs. my time was..... 1:42!!! VICTORY!! hahaaa. Then we went to the beach for a little while until Wayne and Kathy ( My aunt and uncle) and their guests got there. Then it was time to pack up for good and leave ): But not before my uncle Wayne took us to the dunes in his Ranger! It was insanely fun! Then we met up with our Parents and the Lambrights down the road, and we were on our way. but, We did stop at the market to get some jumbo shrimp and a pair of S.w.e.e.t sunglasses! Then we went to Lucas's for the Lambrights to get lunch, then at the border, we stopped at an AMAZING taco shop for the Clouses to get lunch (: and When I say Amazing, I mean AMazing! Then after eating, we were all wiped out, and slept the rest of the way home. The end of our trip was over ):
Everyday this trip was filled with oodles of fun, including eating on the balcony with the ocean right below us, and anything else you could think of. It was truly so much fun! but I didddd miss my brother, Dustin. ):
